Political accountability is a fundamental aspect of democratic governance. It ensures that elected officials are answerable to the public for their actions, policies, and resource allocation. In Minna Local Government, Niger State, political accountability has been increasingly recognized as a critical factor for reducing poverty at the grassroots level. This study aims to examine how political accountability in Minna has impacted poverty reduction initiatives, assessing both the strengths and weaknesses of government interventions in improving the living standards of the local population (Sulaimon & Usman, 2024).
